York Hospital's surgery center mixes advanced technology with personalized care in a comfortable, and caring environment. The center is equipped with three surgical suites staffed by a dedicated and highly trained team of specialists that care for patients preoperatively, during surgery and in recovery.

Our center is well-equipped with the latest advances in technology and instrumentation for a wide variety of surgical procedures that include the following specialties:

Surgeons work with our Anesthesia team consisting of expertly trained Anesthesiologists and nurse anesthetists (CRNA's) to work with patients to ease pain and discomfort pre-, during and after surgery. With amenities like private waiting and recovery rooms, warm blankets, room service, transportation services and staff that are willing to create a comfortable and pleasing atmosphere, York Hospital's surgery center is among the best in the area.

Special Procedures

A wing of the surgery center is designated for special procedures. Endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopies and other gastroenterological procedures are performed in a relaxing, soothing and comfortable environment. Experienced nursing staff work closely with our patients and physicians to create an environment of care and comfort.   Other procedures and services that are performed here include urology, plastic surgery, pediatrics, ENT, medical procedures, orthopedic procedures, gynecology, pulmonology, infectious disease, and ophthalmology.
